Meet the Team

We’re a team of many talents and that’s reflected in our day-to-day work!

Our roles very much intersect because we always jump in when something needs our attention. That allows us to learn from each other, continue to grow as construction managers, and therefore bring you the most elevated and hands-on experience!

Here’s a little more about each of us:

  • Role: Owner & Manager

    Experience: I’ve been in the industry for about 14 years— focused on flipping houses and managing assets and renovations for clients at Platinum Concierge. I opened Ratia Construction in 2016.

    Why Ratia Construction: As an owner I’m biased of course. The opportunity to collaborate with a variety of clients, designers, and architects to build custom spaces for different types of people has been my main drive.

    Me in 3 Words: Sincere, Loyal, Conscientious

    Fun Fact: I worked at the Boca Raton Resort during college.

    What the Team says: Whenever he gets to be on-site with our team or subcontractors, you'll almost 100% of the time see him running in and out of the house moving material and grabbing debris to help everyone out. He'll step in for any one if it's needed from our general on-site workers to one of us in the office.

  • Role: Project Manager

    Start Date: February 2022

    Experience: I’ve been working in Logistics since 2012.

    Why Ratia Construction: We have an amazing team. We provide so much support to each other, both in-office and on-site. I like seeing all moving parts and what a solid team of people can create together.

    Fun Fact: I’m working on my pilot’s license.

    What the Team says: Not afraid to take extra work, Ana is the perfect colleague. She’s doing 100 things at once and still manages to help others and smile through it!

  • Role: Project Manager

    Start Date: October 2023

    Experience: I’ve been in the industry since 2019.

    Why Ratia Construction: It's an extremely dynamic environment. Whether in the office or on-site with tradespeople, designers, and architects, ideas are always being explored and tested. I'm lucky to be involved in our fabulous projects with such creative and diligent people.

    Me in 3 Words: Perceptive, Earnest, Resourceful

    Fun Fact: In my first career, I was a neuroscience researcher. I much prefer the construction site to the laboratory!

    What the Team says: Charlotte is such a fabulous addition to our team. She brings in a unique perspective of an interior designer, so we can understand our client’s needs even better!

  • Role: Project Coordinator

    Start Date: November 2022

    Experience: I’ve been in the industry since 2015, with focus on framing, handy-person jobs, installing low voltage and security systems, and more.

    Why Ratia Construction: When I joined the company I’ve quickly learned that the possibilities are endless. I love being a part of transforming spaces to fit different personalities and design styles.

    Fun Fact: I’m working full-time and going to school to get a business degree (graduating next year!)

    What the Team says: Corey is always there when you need him! He helps us take care of everything back office and with onsite management and is an incredible team player.

  • Role: Administrative Assistant

    Start Date: September 2024

    Experience: I am relatively new to the construction industry but have enjoyed being immersed in it so far!

    Why Ratia Construction: It is incredibly fulfilling to be a part of a team of problem solvers who constantly adapt to new challenges. 

    Me in 3 Words: Curious, Creative, Focused.

    Fun Fact: I have been a tour guide in downtown Chicago, so I have plenty of fun facts about the city and the history of its architecture!

    What the Team says: Daisy is so great to work with! She helps Kiril stay on top of his schedule and communication, and also supports us with the daily office operations. Daisy is the kindest person on earth- she has a smile for everyone.

  • Role: Business Operations Manager

    Start Date: May 2024

    Experience: With over 10 years of experience in the interior design industry, I’ve worked both at an interior design firm and in high-end manufacturing.

    Why Ratia Construction: The collaborative nature of the firm allows me to learn more about the construction industry and all its intricate details. I love seeing the before-and-after transformations!

    Me in 3 Words: Collaborative, Attentive, and Innovative.

    Fun Fact: I played D1 soccer at Western Kentucky University.

    What the Team says: Megan is a fabulous addition to our team- she makes us organized and helps streamline our client process, so we can work better and more efficiently! Her warm and kind personality makes everyone feel very comfortable.

  • Role: Superintendent

    Start Date: May 2024

    Experience: I’ve been working in the industry for 30+ years.

    Why Ratia Construction: The people. I really enjoy working with everyone on our team- it's a very fun and collaborative environment.

    Me in 3 Words: Charismatic, Inquisitive, Altruistic

    Fun Fact: I’ve done improv at Comedy Sportz and stand-up at Lincoln Lodge.

    What the Team says: Scott is always there to support us on site with his extensive construction knowledge. Thanks to his good sense of humor, there's always room for a few laughs when he's around!

  • Role: Finance Manager

    Experience: I’ve been with Kiril since 2019 and am really enjoying my time here.

    Why Ratia Construction: I love the warm and friendly atmosphere of the company.

    Me in 3 Words: Compassionate, Insightful, Meticulous

    Fun Fact: In my prior life, I was a finance executive.

    What the Team says: Organized and professional, Lauraine does a lot of our billing, contracts, and financial breakdowns for complex projects. She’s such an essential part of our company, we couldn’t do it without her!
